Homicide Response Program

Help for Survivors
The Homicide Response Program addresses the various needs of surviving family members of homicide victims and others affected by the crime. The staff is composed of three professional counselors who, through direct interaction with the criminal justice system and community service agencies, will advocate for and assist clients in getting their needs met. These counselors provide:

  • Assistance in completing applications for victims compensation
  • Court advocacy
  • Crisis intervention
  • Individual, family, and group counseling
  • Screening for emergency services
  • Referrals to other agencies for needed services
